Tring: Behind the Scenes Tour
Take a special look behind the scenes at Tring's remarkable world-renowned bird collection.
Themed around the Voyages of Discovery, our tour gives you the unique opportunity to get up close to our historical specimens, including those linked to Charles Darwin, Alfred Russel Wallace and Ernest Shackleton.
Learn about the extreme lengths explorers went to collecting these remarkable specimens and discover how they are conserved and used by researchers today.

- Coats and bags can't be taken into our collection areas but can be stored in our cloakrooms.
