Tring: Tactile Tours - Museum Highlights

Join an, audio described tour of our key specimens, from bizarre cassowaries to a charismatic polar bear and a larger-than-life giant ground sloth.

As well as exploring the specimens that take pride of place in our displays, we’ll be bringing out specimens from our handling collection for you to touch and feel.

We welcome blind and partially sighted adults and their families and friends to this special event.

The tour will be 45 minutes to an hour long and will include specimens from across all our galleries. One week before the event we’ll email you pre-visit information, including wayfinding and details about our facilities.

Places are limited and booking is essential via tring-bookings@nhm.ac.uk.
