Booking a self-led tour for educators

To book a self-guided visit, please complete the form below. The bookings team will then be in touch within 3-5 working days to confirm your booking.

Bookings are available up to 22 July 2025, in school term time.

February, March and early April self-guided visits - no slots available

We are at capacity for self-guided visits in February, March and the first week of April and are unable to accommodate further requests.

Not an educational group?

If you are looking to make a group booking but are not an educational group, please email bookingsupport@nhm.ac.uk

Bookings using this form must be made at least three weeks in advance of the visit. For anything sooner please call us directly.

We have a strict daily capacity for self-guided groups which cannot be breached.

If we are fully booked on a date you have requested, our team will inform you and advise of any available alternatives.

11. Do you require a reserved lunch space?

Spaces are only available on weekdays in school term-time.
You can book a 30-minute slot for lunch at 11.00, 13.00 or 13.30, subject to availability.
The lunch space is also open to all Museum visitors after 14.00 without the need to book.
