Booking a school activity

All schools are required to book their activity at least three weeks in advance. Bookings are currently available up to April 2025.

The following activities can be booked:

• Minibeast Hunt - for ages 4-7 (Early Years - KS1)
• Super Stegosaurus workshop - for ages 5-7 (KS1)
• Pond Dipping - for ages 6-11 (Year Two - KS2)
• Ocean Life and Habitat show - for ages 6-11 (Year Two - KS2)
• Emergency! Earthquakes and Volcanoes show - for ages 7-11 (KS2)
• Dino dig workshop - for ages 7-11 (KS2)
• Evolution workshop - for Year Six (ages 10-11) only
• Biodiversity in Action - for ages 7-14 (KS2 + KS3)
• Mission to Mars: LEGO® Explorers workshop - for ages 7-14 (KS2 + KS3)
• LEGO® Build the Change: Save Our Planet! workshop - for ages 7-14 (KS2 + KS3)
• Meet the Scientist talk - for ages 13+ (Year 9+)
• Spirit Collection Tour - for ages 14+ (KS4 and KS5) [£45 per tour]

Show and workshop timings are listed on their dedicated pages linked above. Workshops and shows cost £3 per pupil. The Spirit Collection Tour is £45 per tour.

Bookings for workshops and shows must be for a minimum of 15 pupils.

A lunch space for the indoor picnic area can be reserved when you book. These are for 30 minutes at a set time between 11.00 and 13.30. This is subject to availability.

Payment and cancellations

If you have booked an activity and need to cancel, email our school bookings team. They will provide a confirmation email.
